Modular cloakroom system on a steel structure as a solution to FC Baar/Lättich's space problem

Over 30 teams play for FC Baar and the club has over 500 members. Football is booming – especially among girls and women. As gratifying as this growth is, things have become very crowded on the football pitches and in the changing rooms in Lättich in recent years.

FC Baar's changing room building, which was built in 1984, was expanded by four changing rooms to a total of ten in 2003, but this was not enough. Often several teams had to share a dressing room.

Since the start of the season in March 2021, the lack of space in the dressing rooms is now a thing of the past. On behalf of the municipality of Baar/Lättich, RECON has now built a modular cloakroom system on a steel structure in collaboration with AVESCORENT.

Cloakrooms, shower rooms and sanitary facilities are now available to the required extent in the total of 15 modules. There remains an open space underneath which, on the one hand, serves as a parking space for the club bus and bicycles, and on the other hand, there is space for the two existing garages for the works service as well as for the technical room for heating and hot water preparation.

The cloakrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors are accessed via a newly created staircase, which also provides access to the upper floor of the existing cloakroom building. The cloakrooms on both floors of the temporary structure are accessible via arcades.
