European Championships 2022 Munich
Major effort for Munich 2022! Delivery and assembly of more than 700 event modules in the Olympic Park and in the city center!
The European Championships Munich 2022 will go down in history books as the largest multi-sport event in Germany since the 1972 Olympic Games and brought together the existing European Championships of nine exciting and spectacular sports under one roof. In combination with the free The Roofs festival, Munich 2022 proved to be a must-experience and must-see event for everyone. The event was held from August 11th to 21st in the Bavarian capital.
The following Olympic sports were included: beach volleyball, canoe racing, climbing, athletics, cycling, rowing, table tennis, triathlon and gymnastics. The sports program in canoe racing and rowing also included competitions in para canoe and para rowing. Across all sports, 175 sets of medals were awarded.
For RECON, this major event was the largest single order to date in the event sector; a total of more than 700 event modules were built at various locations in the greater Munich area and dismantled again within a very short time.
In this context, we are particularly pleased with the positive feedback from the organizing committee after the event was completed for the smooth execution by our project team.
